Temple management software features
Everything a Hindu temple needs to run — puja bookings, priests, deities, festivals, facilities, donations and finance — plus a modern temple website and mobile apps for devotees, priests and administrators. One system, one login, one set of numbers.
Everything a
temple needs
From daily puja scheduling to annual festival management — every workflow your temple runs, in one beautifully unified platform.
Puja Services
Offer archana, abhishekam, homam, and sevas with pricing, duration, and priest requirements. Devotees book online in seconds.
Temple Calendar
View all scheduled pujas and events in a unified calendar. Priests, admins, and devotees all see the same live schedule.
Manage Deities
Maintain detailed profiles for each deity — shrines, consort details, iconography, and sacred histories.
Announcements
Publish announcements, festivals, and special pujas. Create public event pages and campaigns to reach your community.
Facility Services
Book temple hall, kitchen, AV equipment, and more. Manage facility reservations alongside puja bookings.
Manage Devotees
Devotee profiles, contact numbers, and subscriptions — all in one place. Track bookings and manage community members.
Manage Users
Add staff, priests, and volunteers with role-based access. Tile visibility is configurable per role through Tile Access.
Finance Dashboard
View and refund devotee puja orders. Full order history with payment details and service records.
Newsletters & Gallery
Upload monthly, quarterly, and yearly newsletters. Manage temple images, gallery, and the homepage slider.
Canteen & Store
Run the temple canteen, kitchen, or prasadam counter — manage the menu, take orders, track stock with sold-out status, and get low-inventory alerts.
Priest Scheduling
Assign priests to pujas and events, manage their shifts, and give each priest a personal schedule of their upcoming services.
Donations & Campaigns
Collect general and dedicated donations, and run fundraising campaigns with public pages so devotees can give toward temple causes.
Access
What each role sees
Temple Hub is one product with seven roles, and a person only ever sees the tiles their role allows. A priest opening the app gets their schedule, not the finance dashboard. A volunteer gets the event they are assigned to, not the devotee directory. SuperAdmins decide the whole map through Tile Access, so the temple sets its own boundaries rather than accepting ours.
| Role | What they get |
|---|---|
| SuperAdmin | Everything, including Tile Access, audit logs and subscription settings. |
| Admin | Day-to-day management — bookings, devotees, services, calendar, content. |
| Priest | A personal schedule of assigned pujas, sevas and events. |
| Finance | Finance Dashboard, orders, refunds, revenue analytics and exports. |
| Facility | Hall, kitchen and AV reservations, with availability and pricing. |
| Volunteer | Assigned events and services only — a deliberately small surface. |
| Devotee | Their own household: bookings, donations, receipts and newsletters. |
Bookings
Pujas, sevas and facilities in one queue
Devotees book archana, abhishekam, homam and sevas online with pricing, duration and priest requirements already set. Temples that want to review first can take bookings on approval instead: the request lands in the Bookings screen marked Awaiting approval, and only Admins and SuperAdmins see the Approve and Reject buttons. Approving emails the devotee and unlocks Pay Now; rejecting requires a written reason, which is emailed with a push notification. Every decision — who, when, and why — is recorded in the audit log.
Facility reservations run through the same queue. Booking the hall or kitchen at the front desk lets staff add In-Temple priest services to the same reservation, and the calendar automatically blocks dates the chosen priest is already committed to, so two bookings can never quietly claim the same priest.
Front desk
A point of sale that runs on an iPad you already own
Temple Hub runs on any iPad in a counter-top stand as a full front-desk point of sale — no proprietary hardware to buy. Staff charge pujas, donations, memberships and facility bookings with cash, card, or split tender, and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift. The same stand flips to a devotee self-service mode for check-in and donations, and swivels for the devotee to sign or tap to pay.
Memberships are sold like any other service. Yearly memberships get an expiry a year out — renewing early extends from the current expiry, so no paid time is lost — and lifetime memberships never expire. Because the POS knows who is standing at the counter, every service can carry a Member Price and a Non-Member Price, and the right one is applied automatically.
Donations & compliance
Receipts that hold up at tax time
This is the part most temple software leaves to a spreadsheet. Temple Hub issues the right substantiation for each transaction type automatically:
- Section 170(f)(8) acknowledgment
A contemporaneous written acknowledgment for any single contribution of $250 or more.
- Section 6115 quid pro quo disclosure
For payments over $75 that include goods or services, with a good-faith fair-value estimate.
- Intangible religious benefit language
For qualifying religious ceremonies, where the devotee receives only a spiritual benefit with no market value.
- Year-end donor statements
Issued per household, with each revenue category treated according to the temple’s own configuration.
Admins decide how each revenue category is treated under Booking Rules → Receipts & Tax — donations, sponsorships, puja services, private and life-cycle ceremonies, facility rentals, fundraiser events, canteen and catering, event tickets and more. Set the policy once; every receipt after that follows it.
Finance
Revenue you can actually break down
The Finance Dashboard’s Revenue Analytics splits collections eight ways: by payment channel (cash, card terminal, online card, split, check, complimentary), by source (temple website self-service versus the admin front desk), and by category, service, devotee, priest, collector or cashier, and time of day. The By Devotee view is a contributor leaderboard; the By Priest view attributes revenue to the priest who performed the service. Orders can be refunded from the same screen, and reports export to Excel and PDF.
Canteen & store
The prasadam counter, on the same books
Build the menu with portions and pricing, take and track orders, mark items sold out, and get low-inventory alerts before the popular items run out. Set per-day business hours, or run Open 24/7 — and pause ordering instantly with one switch when the kitchen is under water.
When a counter order is rung up against a devotee’s profile, their canteen spend appears on that profile and in a Top Customers panel in Canteen Analytics. Orders taken without picking a devotee stay honest walk-ins — grouped into a single unattributed line rather than guessed at. An optional loyalty program for the canteen and store (points, or annual spend tiers) is off by default.
Included
A modern temple website, included
Every temple gets a complete public website — event pages, festival calendar, photo gallery, newsletters, announcements and online donations — hosted at your own address or connected to your temple’s own domain. It is managed from the same admin portal as everything else, so there is no separate web designer to brief and no second system to keep in sync. Update an event once and it appears on the website, the calendar and the devotee app together.
Mobile
Apps for devotees, priests and admins
One app on iOS and Android, with access decided by role. Devotees book pujas, reserve facilities and manage their household. Priests see the services assigned to them and their upcoming schedule. Administrators and treasurers get exactly the tiles their role allows. Enter your temple code once on first launch and the app opens straight to your temple every time after that, with push notifications for booking updates and announcements. Prefer not to install anything? All of it works in a browser.
Security
No passwords to lose
Everyone signs in with a one-time passcode sent to a verified email address or mobile number, expiring in 15 minutes. Because no password is stored, there is nothing for an attacker to steal or brute-force. Sessions are carried by a cryptographically signed token, every request travels over TLS, and each temple’s data is isolated from every other temple’s. Administrative actions are written to an audit log with the user, the action and the timestamp.
The core platform is the same on every plan. Temple Hub prices by active households — there is no tier that withholds the finance dashboard or the website until you upgrade, and no per-booking or per-transaction fee. Facility Services, Canteen and Store are included on Starter and optional add-ons on Community and Unlimited.
See it with your temple’s data
Most temples are live within a single business day, and every plan starts with a 30-day free trial — no credit card required.
